Our Process
Creating the look you want at the price you are comfortable with is DBD’s goal. Working one on one with you is the only way to achieve this. You can always order online or go to a big box store, but, let’s face it, costly mistakes can be made this way. If your goal is to put the correct window treatments in your home, please invite Drapery, Blinds & Design out for an in-home consultation. Once you reach out to us we will ask you a few questions to help us narrow down what you are looking for. Everything from use of the room, privacy, and budget will be discussed. Achieving a good understanding of what you are looking for is paramount for the in-home visit.
We come to you, give you an estimate, and collect your deposit. Your windows will be re-measured by a certified installer. The number one concern we’ve heard from clients over the years is, “Do I need to clean?” No, but you must have your windows accessible to measure. Please move any furnishings away from the windows that you want to discuss. Once all the measurements are confirmed your deposit will be applied to your order.
When your window treatments come in you will be contacted for the remaining balance. Then the installer will contact you to install your beautiful new window treatments! It is that easy!
